In Altusried, Germany, BOAL Systems is working on the expansion of Hiedl Heidekulturen, commissioned by Rabensteiner GmbH. The project includes 8,410 m² of LUMENEX® VENLO greenhouse and 2,416 m² of S-House™ for the service and logistics area. For the S-House™ section, WNL Horti Insulation is supplying BOAL Systems with the insulated roof and wall panels, along with several custom-made solutions.

For the roof, WNL is supplying 80 mm insulated roof panels featuring our WNL Easyjoint™ technology. The panels are cut at an angle and integrated into the BOAL S-House™ system. The Prisma Sirius (RAL 9006) finish provides a clean and uniform appearance.

Horizontally installed wall panels

WNL is also supplying the exterior and interior wall panels. The exterior walls consist of approximately 1,800 m² of 80 mm insulated panels in Prisma Sirius (RAL 9006). For the interior walls, approximately 1,000 m² of 80 mm panels are being supplied, finished in RAL 9002 on both sides.

A distinctive feature of this project is the horizontal installation of both the exterior and interior wall panels, rather than the more conventional vertical installation.

Custom solutions in every detail

Special attention has also been given to the detailing. At the connection with the concrete base, an EPS insulation block has been installed underneath the wall panel to provide additional insulation. The flashings and corner pieces are finished in RAL 7016.

WNL is also supplying several thermally broken frames with a distinctive two-colour finish: RAL 7016 on the exterior and RAL 9002 on the interior.
